Shahid Mahmood Alvi is a graduate from University of the Punjab and has banking experience in the span of 31 years. He has expertise in Corporate Banking, retail banking & SME businesses. Mr Shahid has led multiple prestigious banks. He started off his career with Bank of America in 1985 and worked in Banking Operations side till 1992.

He joined Prime Commercial Bank in 1992 and has worked in various positions till 2007, during which he worked as AVP/Branch Manager, responsible for Deposit Mobilization, Trade Business, Profitability & Operations, and CD In-charge and Deputy head of Operation.

During June 2007 to May 2008, he worked as RVP/Branch Manager in Faysal Bank Limited and generated a handsome amount deposit with one year. He joined Askari Bank Limited in 2008 and assumed responsibility for Deposit Mobilization, Trade, Advances, Profitability & Operations and achieved Banca Assurance targets and top performer award in Central Region and was also responsible for Area Business Development. From 2014 to 2015 he worked as Vice President and Chief Manager at Sindh Bank Limited. He also joined KASB Bank for a short period of time and then joined Bank Islami Limited as Branch Manager till 2016.
